CEE PG syllabus and pattern (MECEE-PG)

The official MECEE-PG MD/MS paper is 200 single-best-response MCQs in 3 hours with 0.25 deducted for each wrong answer. Practice that pattern here without a login.

Exam format

MECEE-PG for MD/MS is a Type A paper: four options, one best answer, 200 items, 200 marks, 3 hours. Wrong answers lose 0.25. Merit listing uses the upper 50th percentile. Official stems are kept short (vignettes should not exceed about 60 words).

The intended cognitive mix is 50% recall, 30% understanding, and 20% application. Easy-PG’s CEE mode follows that length, marking, and CPD requirement. It is practice, not an official past paper.

Clinical subject weightage (115 marks)

Medicine 18, surgery 18, obstetrics and gynecology 12, pediatrics 12, orthopedics 10, ENT 10, ophthalmology 7, anesthesiology 7, psychiatry 7, radiology 7, dermatology 7.

Basic sciences and CPD (85 marks)

Anatomy 12, physiology 12, pathology 10, pharmacology 10, biochemistry 8, microbiology 8, community medicine and research methodology 10, forensic medicine 5, and 10 mandatory CPD items (ethics, rational drug use, infection prevention, BLS/ACLS, communication).

How to use Easy-PG for MECEE-PG

Run a full 200-question mock when you want exam pressure. Drill high-weight subjects (medicine, surgery, anatomy, physiology) as 40-question topic sets. Review the PDF, then repeat only the weak topics. Negative marking means unanswered is better than a wild guess.
